These clients had already a created project for a two-story house which was much more extravagant than the possibilities of their budget. We proposed them to make a new design and maintain the number of rooms, but reduce the size and volume optimization.
One of the interesting circumstances was the steep and south-facing terrain. This is the reason why the house is located on the highest part of the plot and its levels naturally follow the displacement of the terrain.The silhouette of the house is inspired by the nature of the area – the silhouettes of two mountains with touching parallel slopes.
Two detached zones are located at the two separate sectors – the one is the bedroom and the other one – the living room. Although there are no luxury materials used on the facade, the interior areas, especially the living room, create a feeling of exclusivity and space.
