Homeseal LDS 0.02 is a triple layer water insulation membrane.
It is produced by heat-pressing the polypropylene unwoven fabric with diffuse film. The membrane is entirely recyclable.
Homeseal LDS 0.02 can be used as contact or no-contact vapour permeable under-roofing membrane in pitched roof structures with no wooden foundation. The structure of the membrane ensures very good waterproof conditions.
Extreme vapour permeability ensures good ventilation and keeps the roof structure dry in all weather conditions.
Homeseal LDS 0.02 enables the diffusion of vapour from the structure and at the same time protects the structure from rain and snow.
Homeseal LDS 0.02 does not decay, it is mould and pest resistant and is not harmful for health. It may be used in vertical wall structures as wind protection.
It creates an enclosed system for thermal insulation which is protected from rain, snow, moist and dust.
NaturBoard FIT PLUS, λ=0.037, stone mineral wool
Knauf Insulation NaturBoard FIT PLUS is a compact rock mineral wool slab with stable density which belongs to the soft products. The product is incombustible, resistant to high temperatures, water-repellent, resistant to aging and chemically neutral.
The product is intended for thermal and sound insulation, as well as for fire protection of pitched roofs and in all places where the insulation is not subjected to pressure load. Depending on the ventilation degree of the roof structure and/or the layer above the insulation material, installation of vapor barrier is mandatory on the warmer side of the roof insulation. If the ventilation of the roof structure is intensive, use of vapor barrier is recommended.
– Fire protection – Reaction to fire Class A1, incombustible materials
– Thermal insulation – Low thermal conductivity coefficient
– Sound insulation – Excellent sound insulation due to dense fibre structure of the material
– Stability and compactness
– Resistance to aging
– Self-supporting material: enabled by cutting the slabs to be 1cm wider than the width between the rafters
– The material meets health safety and environmental requirements
– Simple and quick installation
Recommended layer thickness for walls – 10 cm, for roofs – 25 cm.
KnaufClassic 037, glass wool
Mineral fibrous insulation material on the basis of glass with ECOSE® Technology.
Possible application: ceilings and soffits, pitched roofs, internal walls, external walls (grid constructions).
Thermal conductivity: λD = 0.037W/mK
Reaction to fire: A1
– Excellent thermal insulation properties
– high fire resistance
– simple and easy handling
– benefits resulting from ECOSE® Technology:
– softer feel
– less dusty
– easy to cut
Classic 037 with ECOSE® Technology is intended for multipurpose application. It can be used in pitched-roof constructions as a thermal insulation filling of roof-frame rafters and also as a thermal insulation in external as well as internal grid constructions. It is easy to apply in beam ceiling systems as a very good thermal and acoustic insulation material.
Technology – free formaldehyde
Improves indoor air quality
Air-permeable and non-flammable
Homeseal LDS 5 Silk, water vapour control
Homeseal LDS 5 Silk functions as a layer for control of water vapour under the thermal insulation. Its partial vapour permeability (Sd=5m) enables controlled water vapour passage through the structure. Only a small amount of vapour may pass through Homeseal LDS 5 Silk.
Homeseal LDS 5 Silk may be applied in structures of pitched roofs, attics, in vertical wall structures, as well as in insulated ceilings.
By using Homeseal LDS 5 Silk underneath the thermal insulation in combination with vapour permeable waterproof foil on the outside, spontaneous occurrence of vapour, condensation inside the thermal insulation is prevented; therefore the function of thermal insulation is preserved. Homeseal LDS 5 Silk provides comfortable living.
